Holy Crap

It’s been too long between posts. And for those of you how do actually read my blog, I apologize. I have just been super busy with finals and moving and a whole bunch of crap. I’m sitting here in my new dorm room, blissfully alone, and while it’s comfy, I’m not enjoying all too much. That’s only because it’s too empty. And doesnt have enough character, yet. I’m probably going to try and get some neat movie posters for the walls and some lamps. Although what I should do is just hold off until the fall semester do that.

Spooky!

Ok, this is going to be a mini-post.  I just got the scare of a lifetime.  I thought that my EET 320 exam was at 8:30, so I was busting my butt to get over to the classroom.  Turns out, it’s at 9:30! Means I can get me some breakfast and mull over some notes for a little bit.  Thankfully, I was able to check my email at work to double check the time.

Weekend Ennui

This weekend was pretty slow. I had work yesterday. Which was really fun because my co-worker Thomas and I just sat around, listened to classical music, played video games on the computers and discussed summer plans. After that, I think I took a huge nap and then did my radio show. Sadly enough, saturday night was Time’s last night dj’ing for a while. He’s going on hiatus until after he gets married. Awesome evenings!

Wow! Have you ever had one of those really great evenings? You know, the ones where they just seem to make the whole day worth while even though the majority of the day was pretty much stuck in a malaise? Well, I just got back from one. A couple days ago, my friend Benjamin and I were supposed to have gone back to my house for the weekend. However, he had his duty days shifted so we weren’t able to go. … an Oscar Meyer weiner… That is what I’d truly like to be… ‘Cause if I were an Oscar Meyer weiner… Ev’ryone would be in love with me! Seriously though, I’m sorry I haven’t made a lot of posts lately, but I’ve been rather busy with school and life. I’ve finally figured out what I’ll be taking for both the summer and fall semesters. Also, I’ve finally declared my minor: Information Technology. Now all I have to do is meet up with my new IT advisor and figure out when I will be able to take my classes. I’m going to be trying Calculus I yet again, for the third time. This time, I have heard that I will be taking it with one of the best instructors. Read the rest of this entry »

Weekend Fun!

Well, this weekend was great!  I had a blast.  Kari and I hung out a lot.  We went to Coldstone and also Papa Johns.  Great combination for dinner. Pizza and great ice cream.  It was quite delicious.  We had half the pizza with pepperoni and half with chicken and pineapple.  I tell you, I honestly can not get enough of the Cheesecake Fantasy ice cream that Coldstone offers.  It seriously is so yummy. Sol-Time! March 25th, 2006

Well, as some of the people who frequent my blog know, I work for a radio station, AKARadio.I generally do a weekly show from 10 P.M. on Saturday night to Midnight Sunday morning. I’ve been doing it for almost a year now. I’m pretty sure my one year anniversary is coming up in May or June. I’ve had spats where I haven’t really had fun or anything, but for the vast majority of the time, I’ve always had a great time. Anyways, I’m going to be putting playlists of every show that I have in my back catalog. I would actually host the shows but those are amazingly huge files and I dont want to be burning through my whole bandwidth allotment for the whole month as soon as 10 people download a show.
