A Spring break is next week, and I’m just chomping at the bit for it to get here because I can’t wait! Mom and I are going to NYC for a few days to visit family. I haven’t been up there for years. Plus it would be a great break from just staying home and doing nothing. I’m hoping to get a digital camera before we go so I can put some pictures up here. I just wish Friday would get here already. I honestly feel like I am way overdue for an actual vacation somewhere. Just tired of school. Especially since I’m still having a tough time with Calculus. A After my friend Kristy dropped me off, my other friend Kari called me and asked me if I wanted to try and make sushi with her. We left for Costco and picked up some avocados and cucumbers. I just got back from hanging out with my friend Kristy. We spent part of the afternoon together because she’s really depressed about her boyfriend Mike saying he needed some time to think. So we decided to hang out at Panera, do some physics homework and then head over to MacArthur mall and just mall walk. I feel really bad for her because she really likes Mike and this is just tearing her up inside. She said she was feeling better because I was there to help her out through this, but I still feel like she was pretty sad about everything. Read the rest of this entry »

Well, unfortunately, my plans for going home this weekend were dashed. My friend’s father decided to make a suprise visit, plus I have a calculus and physics test next week that I am definitely going to be studying hard for. Thankfully, I got some of my hours back for tonight, so I’m going to be working from 8:00 to 10:00 tonight. All I did today from 9:00 this morning til 3:00 this afternoon was focus on physics. I think I have a good handle on it, but I’m not sure. We’ll see when test days come. I think I’m going to relax tonight. I’ve already put in a lot of time into physics today, so tomorrow and Sunday are going to be calculus days. Read the rest of this entry »

Math, the bane of my very existance! How I hate thee. Seriously, Calculus is just blech. This is the second time I have taken the class and I feel just as lost as the first. I’m trying my best in the class, but it’s just super confusing. Plus, I just don’t see how it fits in with my major. I’m probably missing the big picture, but then again, I always miss the big picture about things. It’s just one of the problems I have with ADD. Read the rest of this entry »

You know, I really enjoy my job. I work at the OCCS help desk here at the college. Basically, I answer the phone, try to help out patrons who either call or come into the office, fill out trouble tickets and send them off to the proper people, and make sure that the cable doesn’t go out on the TV. However, my job gets very slow sometimes and the slowness gives me plenty of time to think about things. Some things, I think, should be left unthought though. Have you ever just had some random, disturbing thought that came out of the blue and you had no idea where it came from? Unfortunately, my mind likes to come up with those thoughts. Not very fun.
