About Me!
Well, I’m DarkSol, a.k.a. Ian Gobert. I’m currently a student here at Old Dominion University and I’m trying to get my Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology. I was born in Kansas City, Kansas on September 1st, 1982, and subsequently lived in Kansas City, Missouri. My mom and I moved to Waynesboro, Virginia in the fall of 1992 and I’ve been here on the East Coast ever since. I currently work here at ODU while studying here as well. It’s a good job, rewarding, fun, but sometimes boring as hell, but I’m not complaining because it is definitely a nice paycheck.
I don’t have any serious hobbies other than being an online DJ for AKARadio, watching movies, reading science fiction and fantasy novels, chatting on multiple IRC networks and hanging out with friends. That doesn’t mean I’m a boring person, I just know what I like and am stubborn enough to not seek out more fun stuff. Although, I am always on the lookout for new movies and new music.
For those people who really, really want to know what I look like, I promise I’ll put up a new picture as soon as I get one scanned.
